Valley of Love
Isabelle and Gerard are an estranged couple who reunite in Death Valley, California to go to a strange appointment. They have not seen each other for years and are there to answer to an invitation from their son Michael, a photographer, which they received after his suicide six months earlier. Despite the absurdity of the situation, they decide to follow the initiatory program designed by Michael. Reuniting on the screen for the first time in twenty‐five years, Isabelle Huppert and Gerard Depardieu deliver fantastic performances in acclaimed director Guillaume Nicloux’s (The Nun, The Kidnapping of Michel Houellebecq) thoughtful and moving feature.
